Wow, what an amazing time it’s been. The Women's Euros have captured everyone’s attention and lifted everyone’s spirits. Thanks for the inspiration and desire to be a winner Lionesses – you’ve won our heart! When talking to friends and colleagues that aren’t into sport, they’ve all thoroughly enjoyed watching the girls and been hooked.
It all starts with grassroots football and having two teen boys who’ve been playing football since before they were born, you can’t help but love everything about the game. The support and love that’s put in from parents, friends and families keeps these clubs going.
Grassroots teams in whatever sport is so important for fitness, well-being, mental health, anxiety and a great way to have fun and meet new friends. This is why we are extremely proud to support, sponsor and be the Official Skincare Partner for the Crawley Wasps FC Junior and Ladies Teams, Copthorne Golf Club and Ifield Cricket Junior section.
Issy from the U16’s Crawley Wasps wants to follow in Ella Toone’s footsteps and says “I loved watching the Lionesses during the tournament and was lucky enough to go to many of the games including the final. I train alongside Crawley Wasps first team and they encourage, push and inspire you to reach their level. I want to go to America and my ultimate goal is to play professionally and be like Ella Toones”.
Children and teens are so lucky to have the opportunity to play so many sports and with most clubs giving a free session, it’s a great way to discover a new passion.
