There really is no better feeling, than when the product you have made, poured your heart and soul into - changes someone's life - literally.

Jack’s mum, Stacey, had almost given up hope of ever finding a resolution to her 10-year-old son’s suffering due to his severe eczema.
Jack’s eczema first became noticeable aged just three months and affected him from head to toe. It quickly became unmanageable as baby Jack could not refrain from scratching his skin as the itchiness was unbearable. He would throw off his protective mittens and very quickly his delicate skin would be covered in blood.
Admitted to hospital
Jack was prescribed hydrocortisone cream by a consultant, but this had precious little beneficial effect. He was referred to Great Ormond Street Hospital where he was taken in for 10 days to undergo extreme treatment.
“Great Ormond Street were amazing and we did learn a lot from them,” says Stacey. But the treatment was impractical and left poor Jack’s skin paper thin as he was bathed three times daily in a steroid wash before having a strong steroid cream applied to him which was left for 30 minutes before a thick emollient was added. The damage to Jack’s skin, with precious little improvement in the suffering caused by the eczema, meant that Stacey eventually stopped using the steroid treatment.
Searching the globe for answers
Stacey and her family tried every potential remedy they could find: they literally searched the globe, with Jack’s great nanny having products shipped over from Australia. The family spent a fortune on holistic gadgets. All to no avail.
Jack couldn’t live normally. He had to be given a prescribed medicine to sedate him at night as this was the only way he could fall asleep.
Answer found close to home
The family eventually found the answer to Jack’s skin problem close to home in the shape of Skin:Genius. Purely by chance, Julia Vearncombe, the co-founder of Skin:Genius, met Stacey and Jack at a local football event. She had just launched Cream Come True and gave them some to try.

That chance meeting has changed Jack’s life.
Within hours of applying the cream, the redness on Jack’s skin was gone. His skin lost its brittle feel and became more soft and supple. The cream sinks into Jack’s skin and is a huge relief after all the really sticky, greasy products they’re tried before.
